Why we love being independent

Being an independent practice, we offer a broad range of solutions for all ages whether it be  glasses or contact lenses.

It is true that no two pairs of eyes are the same as we all have different eye and vision conditions along with different visual demands throughout our daily lives.

At Eyes of Howick we perform longer eye exams,  so we can provide you with a unique personalised experience. Our team endeavour to learn as much about your eyes and general well-being as possible in order to provide you with the best visual solution.

As part of our commitment to providing a high clinical focus, we invest in the best technology for your eyes and our Optometrists are continually attending education events to stay abreast of the latest in eye health care and eyewear technology.

And when it comes to frames and sunglasses  we enjoy providing you with the latest innovative and handcrafted designs but we also stock more conservative options for your preference.

Our dedicated team of eyewear consultants understand that choosing the right pair of glasses is not just a matter of fit. A frame must not only be suitable for your specific optical requirements but it should also reflect your personality and way of life. We enjoy taking the time with you to get this right.

Whether you need to have your eyes tested with one of our Optometrists or  would simply like to call in for a viewing or some general advice about our frame collections, we look forward to seeing you.

Chrizelda brings a fresh approach to Eyes of Howick’s trusted service and expertise. Since joining the team, she has implemented state-of-the- art technology into the practice to enable the most accurate and customisable eyewear for her clients.

This is why our Visioffice lens measuring system is amazing as it quickly analyses how each individual uses their eyes, particularly when reading”. She goes on to explain, “The lenses are then manufactured to take into account the individual characteristics of the wearer to truly provide personalised vision correction. “
